How do we share the information with clients?

We provide the information to clients in the following ways:

Does the LeadHarvest Privacy Policy cover just the LeadHarvest website, and/or does it also include LeadHarvest's data products?

The LeadHarvest privacy policy ONLY covers visitors to the LeadHarvest.io domain and does NOT cover their products . Our Privacy Policy was written by the LeadHarvest legal team with and strictly for the benefit of LeadHarvest and should not be used as a model, an example or be construed as legal advice or recommendation. Every company must confer with their legal team to determine the proper privacy policy to implement for their own websites and businesses.

How is the client data that LeadHarvest collects protected?

All data collected by LeadHarvest is encrypted both in transit and at rest. We have strict access control policies to prevent unauthorized users (including unauthorized LeadHarvest employees and contractors) from being able to access your data.

Does LeadHarvest share it or use client data with anyone outside of the client?

LeadHarvest does NOT use or share client data with anyone outside of the client or who they have explicitly designated in writing to share it with.

All data transfer occurs using industry standard TLS encrypted connections is stored (encryption at rest) using modern public key encryption standards. Encryption keys are securely stored using AWS KMS.

Does LeadHarvest store client Personal Identifiable Information (PII) data?

LeadHarvest destroys any customer-related data after 6 months.

How does this work with CCPA & CPRA?

First and foremost every company, whether or not they do business with LeadHarvest, MUST become California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) compliant.


CCPA and CPRA are consumer-oriented laws, so every company must give consumers (vs businesses) who visit their website the ability to opt out (as well as other specified provisions in both legislations) in order to be compliant.

LeadHarvest does NOT offer services directly to consumers therefore CCPA and CPRA do not apply to us. CCPA/CPRA compliance is ultimately the responsibility of each website owner. LeadHarvest does not provide legal advice or information, so please consult your legal counsel regarding these matters in order to determine what steps are necessary and appropriate for your business.

How does this work with GDPR?

LeadHarvest’ technologies only resolve US identities, so the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) doesn’t apply to our website, technologies, nor products.
